Why Dunlap Elementary School?

Dunlap is a caring school community. We are one big extended family. We try to live up to the mission of every child, every day. We provide academic, behavioral and emotional support for our students before, during and after school. We have a tremendous before/after school program that provides support for each child.

Academic Parent Teacher Teams (APTT)

We are one of ten schools in the state to receive a grant for Academic Parent Teacher Teams (APTT). This allows us to have three-grade level meetings where foundational grade level skills are taught, parents learn an activity to play with their child at home and set a 60-day SMART goal for their child.

Project Lead the Way (PLTW)

We also received a grant to implement Project Lead the Way (PLTW). Students in fifth and sixth grade are learning technology and engineering skills. We are one of three elementary schools in Appleton providing this instruction. These are just a few of the things that make Lincoln unique.

WE ARE PROUD TO BE THE LINCOLN LIONS!

History

The original Lincoln School Bell is displayed on our playground. This bell was in the original Lincoln School which later served as the City Hall. We start and end each school year by ringing the bell.
